About Karen MacIntyre

Karen is a qualified Specialist Teacher and Dyslexia Assessor. She is an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA) and holds a current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC). Karen is PVG-checked and level 3 safeguarding trained.

Based in South Lanarkshire, Karen works with children, young people and families from Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire.

Drawing on her experience as a classroom teacher and private tutor, Karen is passionate about supporting parents and young learners on their educational journeys. Her understanding of how children learn inspires her commitment to empowering young people with dyslexia to embrace their individuality, understand their learning profiles and use all possible support mechanisms.

Karen believes that when young people with dyslexia are given the right tools and encouragement, their confidence blossoms and their true academic potential can shine.
